Constant innovation over nearly 10 years has allowed our processes to move far beyond our humble beginnings of only EPS recycling. Further refinement has allowed us not only to offer a wider variety of plastic type recycling but with greater efficiency. Our recycling technologies have gotten as efficient as being able to recycle up to 770 lbs of styrofoam type plastics per hour!  Today StyroVentures offers recycling of all 3 main foam type plastics.

  • EPS – Expanded Polystyrene (most commonly known as Styrofoam)

  • EPE – Expanded Polyethylene (otherwise known as soft foam)

  • EPP – Expanded Polypropylene (similar in look to EPS but more durable)

Recycle programs are tailored to meet the needs of clients from small businesses or communities to large cities or national fortune 500 brands. As the only national service provider able to offer customized recycling services for problem plastics, Styro Ventures is well equipped to offer a program that meets most any clients needs.

  • On-Call Plans – ideal for low volume or seasonal producers that need the same attention as big companies

  • Scheduled Services – better for clients with reliable production of foam waste

  • Flat Rate Unlimited Plans – customized plans for larger clients that allow maximum flexibility of service but ensure budget compliance

Closed Loop

Styro Ventures innovative processes have allowed us to work directly with recycling manufacturers around the world. We work with a few chosen manufacturers that allow us to recycle collected materials back into a variety of products including new plastics including:

  • PS insulation panels

  • PE Films – including vapour barrier for new home construction

  • EPP Products – including coolers, packaging and foam inserts for kids bicycle helmets

Transparency

By being involved from the point of collection to the “actual recycling” of materials allows us to control the entire process to ensure all material we collect ARE 100% recycled. It is this attention to detail that allows us to accurately report the complete environmental benefit to clients with complete transparency and accountability.
